Somehow that they are unknown has always made such a powerful statement to me. Very good photo for this theme

AN excellent choice for this week’s theme. There is something moving about the tombs of the unknown soldiers.

I have to admit — I visited Paris and saw the Arc de Triomphe from a distance… but never thought to go inspect it up close. As a result, missed this sight. So thanks for showing me what I missed!
